Yep, mine has 16. You'll need a deep deep socket. Call the dealer for the make and model of the tool they use. You might be able to get it from the dealer, an autoparts store, Sears or MATCO tools.

The significance of 16 spark plugs has to to, I believe, with the hemispherical, inherently lean burning, combustion chamber arrangement. Two plugs per cylinder promotes a clean and complete combustion burn cycle.

Sweet ride there sir, very nice I have an ST model with all the muscle and no luxury but blue, and was wondering if you ever found a tuner or heard of one for the 09 ram hemi. I'm old school mopar here in Louisiana and I hope you don't mind me adding you to my friends list. I looking forward to sharing experiences, tips, and knowledge with similar trucks, so if it's okay with you, hammer away. Nice talking, cya around and tks

Default Spark Plugs

Yea 16 plugs but you need a torque wrench to tighten them down to 13 FT/LB, Yes only 13 max is 15 Ft/Lb. Just remember that top fuel dragsters use Hemi's with 16 plugs

welcome Radio, and "howdy neighbor"

I'd heard about the 2 plugs per cylinder, but haven't gotten around to investigating....
