Default Signal To Aftermarket Amp With Stock Radio?

What is the best way to get the audio signal to an aftermarket amp from the stock radio? I just got my truck (yes I'm new to the forum) a few days ago so I don't know much about the radios yet. I wan't to install my amp and subwoofer from my old car but I don't really want to put in a new head unit (just one more thing for someone to steal) They don't have a factory installed output on the radio do they? Is the best thing just to splice into another speaker wire and get the signal from there? Let me know what you guys have done.

Its made by Scosche, called a Line Output Converter, and that is the exact description above ^

I have one and it works pretty well. If you tap into the speaker wires, it converts them to RCA cable for input into your amp.

Hey Black I just took one out of my ram that I used for like 2 days, becuase I installed a whole new radio, if you want it it's yours. Just depends on how fast you need it?

also while you got the radio out to tap into the wires....on the vehicle harness there is a pink/yellow wire that is the ACC wire you can tap into to turn your amp on!
