Default Is "RAMNIT" offensive?

So, my wife really wanted to order a personalized plate for our new Ram, we decided it'd be cool to have "RAMNIT" so we got online and attempted to order the plate, however I was notified that the plate could not be ordered because it could be inappropriate or offensive to others. Does anyone follow the logic in how this can possibly be offensive to anyone?

I voted Yes simply because of the spelling. Two "M"s in the middle, definitely not. But with "M" and "N" next to each other, I am sure they are seeing that other word with similar spelling. Dang government officials...

I could see how they would view it as a crude sexual innuendo. I would get it seeing that on a Ram but I guess Big Brother has no sense of humor!

These days what isn't offensive? Some people just don't get it. RAMNIT is 100 % clean

haha, there was a web article my friend posted to me about a vegeterian woman in like NC or SC who wanted a plate "LUVTOFU" and they shot it down too..

She had bumper stickers and whatnot on her car about being green and whatnot.

I have a friend with a Cummins Diesel. He has the window sticker "Rather Be Cummin Than Stroking." You'd be surprised how many people say something to him about it being offensive. Even after he explains the meaning of it, they still get upset.

I voted NO, because I am all about freedom of expression, and people having the right to do what they want, within reason. Our rights are being eroded daily, and everyone is offended by something all the time. They're just angry because they didn't come up with it first if you ask me. Like the Cummins sticker! I have a bumper sticker that reads, "remember when sex was safe and diving was dangerous?" Honestly, for such an "open" society, when have we all become such prudes?

Something kinda like that in addition to government just getting too large and intrusive.
