I have a 2.5 inch Pro Comp leveling kit. It's a metal spacer that sets on top of the strut. Mine rides just as smooth as when it was stock.

probably a dumb question, and sorry to hi-jack your post, but why is it called a 2.5" leveling kit? I saw "leveling kits" on ebay etc., and they have 2" spacers for the back leafs? Is it because you have to lift the stock front end a little bit higher, so that's why it's called 2.5"??
I would like to install one to fit my 35's which should be here any day, i already cranked up my torsions a couple years ago for looks (no issues), i wonder if they'll fit without doing anything else?????....

hmmm.....I guess we'll see and i'll post some pics when i get it done.

35" tires will fit stock without a leveling the truck out on 03-08. Leveling kits are for the front only. I don't know why some of the ones on ebay include blocks, kind of defeats the purpose of trying to level the truck out. A leveling kit should just be a new key for torsion bar trucks or a metal spacer for trucks with struts.

i've got a 2.5" top gun customz level kit, pretty much same setup as 57hemi08 just without the bump stops, but from what i hear sometimes the bump stops interfere with wheel fitment or something.

I have an '02 Ram Sport, isn't this the same set up and the '03s? I'm pretty sure it's the same as my bros, '03?? I'll have to have another look. And,

what's a bumpstop?

the bumpstop is a rubber piece that fits between the frame and suspension mounts to stop them from crashing into the frame when you hit a big bump. if you delete them there's a chance you can damage your control arms and suspension if you hit enough bumps at speed.

Default level kit

i've got the 2.5'' level kit in my 08 long box quad cab and although ride quality hasn't changed, i do get some bumpsteer now and the handling on corners gets a little hairy now and then. The truck wants to turn-in more than the input you're giving the wheel. Sometimes it's pretty nerve wracking!
