Default Question - How to get speaker wire to doors?

I'm looking at installing a new head unit, amp and speakers. I'm taking some time to plan to ensure that I will be able to accomplish this myself before I start...

I have a question for anyone that's run wire into the door -- on the drivers side, I see where the sleeve is that carries wires from the door back into the car is, but inside the car, I don't see where the wire comes out...it looks like it's somewhere behind the parking brake assembly...

How do you get to this wire? do you need to take off the parking brake assembly?

Thanks!

Colin

The kick panels clip on, once you pry them off gently, there is a piece of padding right behind the parking brake and the wires are behind it. You have to pry that padding away from the sheetmetal, then you will see the speaker wires right towards the front of the bundle. They are green wires in my Ram. A little tricky to get your fingers in there since the wiring bundle doesn't stretch much.

Wow, so I actually looked back there, and I can't quite reach to stick my fingers in the hole that leads to the rubber sheathing which goes to the door. I guess once I push wires through from the door side, I can probably pull those through from the kickpanel side.

Thanks...

It is a pain to snake them through the molex the first time you try it I hear. But once you figure out how it goes back in the door, they say it is pretty easy.
