Let me give this a shot although I haven't used a HP unit in some time.

Rev limiters set the upper engine RPM limit. If your redline on the truck is 6200 RPM, set the rev limiter at 6200 rpm.

Shifting points are RPM's where you want the truck to shift at WOT (Wide Open Throttle). Your best bet is to set the shift points for each gear at least 300 RPM below the rev limiter setting. That way it won't hit the rev limiter before it shifts.

Do you have access to 93 octane? If so, yer good. If not, and you can only get 89 or 92, then reprogram for a lower octane value. Never set your tune octane above what you can actually get.

I assume you have a HEMI?

I don't have a hemi. I have 5.9 magnum, and I have been using 91 with octane booster

Yes, you can use an octane booster with a 91 tune. Just don't run any octane below 91
