Default Headers Help!

I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500, and i have dual exhaust, cold air kit, and a new throttle body. i just got paid today and i've wanted to throw some headers on there, but i dont no what to get? should they be short or long tubed? i could really use the help guys

First I see this your first post so let me welcome you to the RamforumZ. I am sure you should be able to get more detailed responses on header design but basically long headers generate more low end power and shorties more top end power. It is always a trade off.

As Zonestar said welcome and he's told you what each one is good for. I'll warn you now that it's a bear of a job to do exhaust header swap, You may need an engine hoist.
