Default Maximum admissible transmission temp

Does anyone know what the maximum admissible transmission temperature is?

I recently went on a short road trip to Squamish BC, pulling a trailer of about 4500lb. It wasn't extremely hot outside but was one of those warm days. When I checked the coolant temp (on the EVIC center) it was 92C (197F) and the transmission temp was reading 106C (223F).
Coolant temp seems normal, but I have no idea about what's acceptable for a transmission?

The dealer couldn't give me a straight answer but said not to worry, if anything is out of range you'll get a message on the EVIC center right away.

Any answer will be much appreciated.

Did a little looking around and it seems that 200 to 230F is acceptable but is on the high side. You defiantly want to change your transmission fluid under the severe usage guidelines in the owner's manual.

On most cars today the cooling fans won't turn on till 225-235 for the cooling systems . So I would say your ok . If you want , service your trans and install a synthetic trans fluid like Amsoil . Made a believer out of me years ago , thats all I run . In cold climates stays fluid like down to -60 below zero . And it's no joke . Excellent for high temps also .
