Default 08 hemi tranny mds issues

I recently had my tranny of my 08 dodge ram hemi act as if had no first gear. When I started the truck and put it into drive it felt like it was in 2 or 3 gear. Shut the truck off for a while and it was ok. Of Course the dealer says they find nothing wrong and it is fine. Also I am very on happy with mds and tranny they seem not to work well together at all. Dealer told me today it can not be elminated. Any feed back on these isuues would be great

Yeah that works too but it will give worse fuel mileage. The benifits of a tuner far outway the cost.

I will have to say that the style of driving I do does not make any difference with the MDS on or Off...... I constantly hit the reset button on my overhead to see the real time MPG while in MDS with the truck on the back roads and it is the same as with Tow-Haul Mode on. MDS only works to a + while at Highway speeds of 60+ MPH.....

The only way to get better mileage in MDS mode than in tow/haul mode is coasting downhill on the highway with the wind behind you. MDS sucks and is pretty much pointless on a full size truck!
