Default Just a quick question.

I have no idea what section of the forum this should even be under, but I figured this was the closest one. Looking under the hood last night I saw what almost looks like a spark plug just hanging kind of by my grill. Its hooked up for power and everything. Just thought i'd get your opinion on what exactly it is. I personally think it's a sensor for the exterior temperature which is projected inside. The truck is a 1998 Ram 1500 ss/t.

Sorry for the poor poor picture quality, it was late, and I only had my cell phone with its stupid flash.

It looks like the temp sensor for the overhead display.

Yeah it is guys. Sorry for that poor quality. I walked out today, started the truck, checked the temp, 68*, then covered it and next thing I know its 82*
