I'm using MBRP. Its a catback with dual outs and it cost me $550. Its has a nice sound but it won't annoy you when you're cruzing down the freeway.

I'm considering MBRP because it's a fairly local company up here. A buddy of mine was actually friends with the owner a few years ago before he got the business up and running. Can you comment Jay on the sound of the MBRP compared to magnaflow or flowmaster setup? Also which series did you go with, the XP, Pro, or Installer?

Cheers,
Chris

If sound is all your after and you don't care about performance flowmaster sound really good. Now if ya want a nice flowing muffler and good sound check out magnaflow, or cherrybomb vortex system.

With Magnaflow and Flowmaster the exhaust is super loud all the time. Its always sounding like you have your whole foot in your truck. With MBRP you have tone but its a low grawl and when you give it a little gas its not going to wake the neiborhood.

Heres the link to the one I have

That MBRP system sounds good, Jay! I have Magnaflow on mine and I like the sound. It's actually a lot quieter than the Flowmaster systems I've heard until you open it up!

I have straight pipe duals on my 07' with the factory cats...Its definitely a throaty sound and pretty loud, the only down fall is that when MDS kicks in it sounds like a tractor especially in town at lower speeds. On the interstate its not too bad. If your looking for a lot of rumble, its not a bad way to go and usually fairly cheap at your local muffler shop compared to some of the prices on the cat-back kits.

I love the sound of my flowmaser exhaust. I went with the 50 series. It is much quieter at part throttle than the 40 series. A real deap growl.
