I've always used Chilton, but in the case of my Jeep, I have both, just in case one has something the other doesn't, however, both are useful tools for the DIY'er and were worth every dollar I spent on them.

I have used Haynes for my previous cars( Ford Exploder and Merc Villager). Great info in both manuals. I have heard that dealer manuals may have some shortcuts and troubleshooting that Chilton and Haynes don't. Any thoughts?

It's Chilton. Though I've owned both of them, I think Chilton is much better and seems more sufficient.
