Default wire for the reverse lights o8 ram

i need the wire color for the reverse light on my 08 ram. i bought a light bar from recon.

I forget the actual color, but it's not hard to find. If you don't already have one, head down to Sears, Radio Shack, or even a hardware store and get a cheap electrical meter that will read DC voltage. they can be found for under $20

Once this is done, remove your taillight assembly (only a couple of screws) and unplug the connector, and without starting the truck ( and with the e-brake set) place the gear lever in reverse, this will light up your reverse lights.

Place the black (negative) lead solidly against the frame of the truck or other unpainted surface. There should be only one wire that has voltage on it when set up like I described above. simply put the red (hot) lead against each terminal in the connector until you find the right one, you should get about 12V DC
