Default Good Exhuast setup

Whats a good exhaust setup if I was to get one built at a local muffler shop?
does anyone know what the stock sizes are or maybe a picture of how the stock one is piped? I am thinking going from the restrcative Y all the way back.

...change the Y and if your going back from there I would do 3" piping into a 3"si/3"so dumped after axle... this was a very good setup for me before I went to duals to muffler.. this setup was totally fabricated at the independent muffler shop I go to..

If your local emissions regs allow it, I'd dump the Y pipe, go with duals and add a crossover or "X" pipe in front of the mufflers for better flow.

Careful of going too large in pipe ID...you can lose low end torque if you do. You can have 3" tailpipes but keep the inlet and outlet ID's on the mufflers to 2.75" or less.

well, unless you've done some engine mods like cam, head, lt headers...true duals will kill low-end..it's just overkill...our hemi's need more back pressure then we realize...
