Default quick question

ok getting ready to change the fronhubs on my truck, auto zone guy told me the axlenut socket i needed is 36 mm . is this correct ?,or would it be 1 11/16 , as ive seen someonen mention this on here. Is it safe or a good idea to put anti seeze on the axle spline before i install the hub on the axle shaft, i just had the u joints replaced a couple of months ago , so the hubs shouldnt be that hard to remove , i hope.
Thanks,
Tom
