Default Newbie mds question

well i have another newbie question. i was reading about the mds systems...and somewhere i read that not all ram 1500s from 2005+ have the mds system. so how do i know for sure that mine has it. its a 06 1500 qc hemi 4x4 if that helps.

Just saw this thread...sorry...

Here's one way to tell...go out to the freeway and manually shift up as you accelerate until you reach your top gear...keep accelerating then level off. Watch the tachometer. If it drops another 500 or so rpm's after your throttle input has leveled, I suspect you have MDS. You may also hear a change in the exhaust note.

Another way is to call the dealer, give them the VIN and ask them. They can pull up the info on your truck.
