Exclamation Need Tire Advice/Feedback

Bought an '03 1500 earlier this year and it came with 33" ProComp Xterrain tires on it. Unfortunately only 1 of the 4 have good tread on them. Sooo...I'm tire shopping.

I've narrowed it down to two choices. While I'll go off road sometimes for camping trips, this mainly will be a street truck, as it's only 4x2 and I want some tires that have a decent tread warranty. These two have 40,000.

I need some feedback as to what you may recommend or if you have/have had these particular tires, how do/did they hold up or perform?

A co-worker runs the ProComp X-treme M/Ts and says they're a great all round tire, so the A/Ts with a better highway ride and wear would top them if you need the durability. Just watch for leaving them sitting for too long as they're a softer tire and can spot after a while.

The M/Ts are a very reliable tire and i've always heard good things about them from guys in the oil field here.

Another to consider is the Toyo M-55s or Nitto terra grapplers as they are good all round tires again with good wear and they throw everything but sand. I run the M-55s on my F-350 work truck and they're amazing in all weather conditions inculding the ice/snow/slush we get on oil field roads in northern alberta.

There's one to look into, see if it's available in your size, but only Sam's Club carries it.

The tire is by Goodyear, called the ArmorTrac. It's an A/T tire, has either a 50k or 60k warranty.

After speaking to the techs out there, and a person that's had the tires for about 20k miles, I think they're pretty high up there for a 2WD truck. They're highly rated for highway, and do amazing off road as well.

They also have good tread ratings:

Treadwear: 520
Traction: A
Temperature: B
