Default Bearing/hub assy

I'm trying to change out the right front wheel bearing/hub assy on my 02 Ram 1500, 4WD, 5.9L Quad Cab. On the back of the hub there are 3 recessed bolts which I cannot seem to get a socket to fit flush over. It is a very tight space there due to the steering arm (I think) & its big rubber boot. Any ideas? Thanks.

what sockets are you using??? Standard or metric??? And what size of the standard or metric have you already tried to match up???

Tried both. I can get a 19mm on crooked but not flush. Don't want to jack up the heads on these bolts. I've tried both regular & deep well sockets but that arm/boot is in the way.

Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
Remove the brake caliper and rotor (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/ROTORS - REMOVAL).
Remove the ABS wheel speed sensor if equipped, (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/ELECTRICAL/FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR - REMOVAL).
Remove the halfshaft nut.
NOTE: Do not strike the knuckle with a hammer to remove the tie rod end or the ball joint. Damage to the steering knuckle will occur.

Remove the tie rod end nut and separate the tie rod from the knuckle using special tool 8677.
Remove the upper ball joint nut and separate the upper ball joint from the knuckle using special tool 8677.
Pull down on the steering knuckle to separate the halfshaft from the hub/bearing.
Remove the three hub/bearing mounting bolts from the steering knuckle (HALFSHAFT / HUB/BEARING).
Slide the hub/bearing out of the steering knuckle (HALFSHAFT / HUB/BEARING).
Remove the brake dust shield.

Sounds easy . Have done a couple hub/bearings on 3/4 ton 4x4 's and could not get the hub assembly off of the spindle . Slide hammer , heat , nothing would budge it . Took hours of beating on it before it came off .

Okay. I'm working on this thing as we speak. I got the upper ball joint & tie rod end seperated from the knuckle. Got the 3 bolts off that hold the hub to the knuckle. The hub assy of course will not slide out, it appears somewhat rusted & will not budge. Can I just whale on this thing or what? The steering knuckle is only attached by the lower ball joint & I don't want to mess it up.
