Default Rapid response items

Took the truck to the dealership for an oil change and as I was leaving the service guy said to schedule some time to drop the truck off so they could take care of the rapid response items. Of course, in my hurry I said no problem. I need to call and find out what they are but just thought I'd see if any of you guys dealt with this.

Of course, I also took the truck in for the vibration issue. They balanced all the tires and said they were out of balance and should be good now. Well, driving home tonight the truck still has a vibration on the highway between 55 and 65 mph.

Regardless, I still love the truck. Getting the Draw-Tite hitch put on tomorrow. Mod number 2 will be in the books. Let the party begin!

You'd better read this thread on the vibration issue:

thanks! yeah, i read that. makes me nervous but hopefully it's something minor. i will say i don't like the goodyears that came on the truck. seems like they've chunked a little on the edges and i don't drive the truck crazy at all.

i just love this truck. and this is the only issue i've had so i just want to get it fixed. i'll keep everyone posted.

So this past Thursday I dropped the truck off. There were 4 Rapid Response items taken care of. I don't have the paperwork in front of me right now but believe they were greasing the passenger seat, some anti-squeal tape, a clamp for the radiator, and something else. Also, this time they roadforce balanced the tires. So far the truck is running great. I have to say I'm not a fan of the Goodyears but can't swing replacing the tires right now. Anyway...things look good right now.

vibration on new vehicle is pretty common because when they stock order vehicles and the just sit on the lot for a month or two the tires flat spot and it is a pain in the ass to get rid of ive had to roadforce tires air them up th 50 psi put 20 miles on them and then re road force them to finally get them correct on a supercharged range rover before.

I've noticed a vibration in mine too. Only notice it on the interstate. Couldn't tell if it was the road or the truck...... looks like it might be the truck.
