Default Bug deflector loose

09 Ram 1500 OEM deflector put the little push things in the re drilled holes and installed deflector but screws do not tighten , just turn and deflector sems a bit loose on hood with a bit of forward and back wobble . Any suggestions ? Thanks TIM

I would try putting lock washers on.

If I read right, you have push in plugs the screws lock into (not 100% on that)...toss them, get some lock washers and locking nuts, and you'll be good to go.

thanks for reply , yes push plugs ,then screws into that . No way to get nut on other side. Found some larger push plugs am going to try to whittle them down enough to fit tight and hammer em in . If I can do it the screws WILL tighten up the for sure . Thank again Tim

get er done , used bigger screws and original push plug things. Still had to slip a small screwdriver in between shield and hoo to keep em from turning but they finally grabed

just wondering how to attach the bug deflector back? The pieces of tape are still on my car. Got my deflector loose so I detached it.
