Default Front and rear differential servicing

I was just wondering what the service interval was to change the hydrolic fluid in the front and rear differential. my truck has 130k miles on it and i honestly don't believe that it has ever been changed before. just curious.

either way the fluid should be replaced if you are not sure if it has been changed in the past. most diff fluids come with an additive for limited-slip diffs, just check the bottle and make sure it states on there that it has this additive. HTH

well the main thing that i was worried about was whether or not it would mess anything up. like sometimes if the trans fluid is bad it is actually worse to change it then just to leave it in or something like that. how do i check to see if it's limited slip or not? does it make a difference with the type of fluid that i use? i think that i remember reading somewhere that i might have either dana 60 or 70 rear end or something lol idk i have no idea. how can i tell?
