Default Raised white letters.....in or out ?

Hi all,

I own an 09 Hemi Ram with those Goodyear Wrangler HP's with the raised white letters, just want to know what most of you all are doing.... leaving them as is (letters out) or getting them mounted with the letters in so you get the blackwall effect or changing tire brands altogether ? I ask this because as you know those %**#@* ! letters are a pain to keep clean and skuff quite easily if they rub up against the curb.

I don't care what anyone says, I like letters out!! I think it looks tough! I had the letters out on my Xterra and got grief for it but I didn't care! I was careful to not hit the curb and never wore off the letters. I kept them clean with a shot of Clorox Clean-Up spray, sprayed on a cloth then rubbed on the letters.

I agree with BlueJet. I think they look awesome with the letters out. Ya they can get dirty and scruffed but i found this stuff called Wesley's Bleach White. This is designed for white-wall tires but it is killer awesome on those letters. Also something i found is that if you get dirt or anything on your tires that you cant get off with a pressure washer this stuff cleans it right out with ease. I highly recommend this stuff. I spray it on and let it soak then you use a car washing brush and it cleans with out any problems.

I heard about Wesley's being great to clean whitewalls & letters but doesn't that stuff eat away at the chrome plastic wheel covers that comes with our trucks ?

yes...white letters out.

I saw a truck with 20s on it the other day with really small raised letters...and I really liked them. Don't know where he got them though.

I prefer them out aswell (though I don't have any) My moms car does, and when they are clean they are SHARP! I just use a brush and scrub the hell out of them, they will be clean forever Lol.
