Default 38's on my 2000?

I have a 2000 1500. I just bought it and the guy says that it is a 6 inch lift and it does have 35's. I was wondering what your guys take on fitting 38x15.5R16's under it?

By the look, you should be able to clear 38s with the 6" lift. How much room do you have on the inside? I'd say it shouldn't be a problem.

I think you'll be ok . Looks like you have plenty of clearance . I know when I bought my 35's the guy mounted up just one , installed it on the truck and tried it . Let us know how you make out .

Do you think i would have any issues with needing to regear if i have 3.55 gears in it? It already hauls a** with the 35's

Wow, that is nice. I would agree try mounting one (up front) and turn the wheel to see if it rubs. Looks like you may have some clearance problems with the front bumper...
