Question Kicker speaker upgrade

Does anyone have the Kicker sub/speaker/amp upgrade for the '09 Ram?

If so, how does it sound? Is it worth the money? And, How much did it cost etc..? Any system specs.? Do they even make it?

Thanks,
Doug

That price also included the ParkSense--Rear Park Assist. For what I like to listen to, SRV,Edgar Winter, Grateful Dead, Neil Young etc it really makes a differance. The 9 speakers with a Sub sounds incredible and so far is well worth the money.

It doesnt sound like the thumpers running around town(thankfully).

Kicker does make an aftermarket sub for the '09 Ram Quad and Crew cabs. It's a square 10" 200W sub, and you can see it here http://www.kicker.com/mopar Looks like it goes in the storage area under the drivers side rear seat

I haven't heard of anybody with that sub. I have the premium factory system in my truck (Dodge calls it "Alpine Surround Sound" in their marketing), and it's plenty adequate for me. I don't crank my stereo up too often. It'd be interesting to hear how this Kicker sub is though

I've got the Alpine 9 speaker system with sub. It sounds really good, better than the 6 speaker with sub I had in my Tundra. The subwoofer under the passenger side rear seat gives a pretty good thump if you crank up the bass.

Those Kicker speakers are a little pricey. $558 for the 10 inch sub. I was actually considering adding a sub like this to my 9 speaker setup.

http://www.larsonparts.com/product_i...oducts_id=3510

Does anyone know if the amp is any good that came in this setup? I haven' had time to crack open the plastic and see what is under. I was wondering if you could just plug and play some premium speakers.

Don't get me wrong, it sounds pretty good. I wouldn't mind hearing opinions of how you can make it better.

The Kicker upgrade in the Ram Accessories Book, shows 4-door speakers, 1-underseat woofer and an amp. It says it's plug and play and not much else. I going to get a price this week from my dealer and then see if I can beat it.

I just installed the 77kick29 & 77kick42 in my 2010 and am pretty satisfied with the sound. Definate improvement. I paid $284.00 at the dealer. I'm going to order the77kick44 sub/amp for it this week.(online) I have been to the local audio places in the past for other vehicles ect... and have never found or wound up with anything I really liked for under $1500.00, All together after I'm finished this time will be under $900.00 installing it all myself.

I've got the same setup and have been looking into buying the additional amp for the speakers, plus the 77kick44 sub/amp. I've been on the phone with Kicker trying to figure out the best fit. Couldn't figure out if I should get the 77kick43 (4.1 base audio amp) or the 77kick45 (12 channel premium amp) which are both about the same price.

According to what Kicker had told me... once you connect the amp for the speakers you will lose all voice in the front 6X9's due to the crossover being set to 80Khz. This was intentional and their purpose was to use the 77kick44 inline with the 77kick43. Waiting to here back if it's the same for the 77kick45.

Let me know how it worked out for you by just adding the sub/amp without the amp for your door/dash speakers. Maybe this will be more than fine.

Thanks.

I'm thinking about upgrading to the kicker setup. Its about $300 on ebay after shipping, wonder how much I could get it from the dealership. Is there a part number for all the speakers excluding the sub and amp or is it two seperate part numbers?
