I have the alpine system in my 2011 sport and i think the interior speakers are fine but i just wish there was a lil more bass, its not bad sitting in your driveway or cruising through town but on the highway it just sucks.....especially if you have the windows down.......

A lot of the problems with the Alpine system (and that Kicker upgrade as well) is the amp. It's weak.

I had the Kicker upgrade in my truck and ended up pulling them out and surprising a member here with an audio system for her truck.

In it's place I put in some Hertz HSK 165 2-way components, kept the rear Kicker speakers, put in a JL XD 400/4 main amp, pulled the Alpine Type S 10" sub and MRP-M500 amp from the car and, Voila`...a nice sounding system.

Speakers will help even with the Alpine system but any Mopar stock or accessory amp just doesn't push any real power to the speakers.

Clay, the part numbers for the speakers I bought were 77KICK42 and 77KICK29. They don't come as a package, I bought both sets individually.

You'll most likely be able to find these pretty easily online for a cheaper price than dealer. I've seen about $75 difference for the amp and the sub options between dealer and online retailers.

Just for some clarification... I worked things out with Kicker and Mopar as far as the setup I have in my truck. My truck was shipped with the base audio package, supposedly with 6 premium speakers ( 2 dash, 2 front door, 2 rear door).

Based on this setup, I cannot use the 77KICK43 and 77KICK45 amplifier options will not work with this setup. They will cut out sound for the doors due to the crossover. An aftermarket version of the Kicker amplifiers does provide a high and low crossover on the amp which will allow all sound through the speakers so you don't lose out.

For now, I will just be adding the sub/amp option 77KICK44 to boost the bass and see how that works out. The speaker upgrade alone with the MyGig head unit sounds pretty decent. Hopefully the sub doesn't drown out the rest of my stuff.

Installed the 77KICK44 sub/amp option this past week. I'm very happy with it and it compliments the rest of my setup pretty well. Well worth it if anybody is considering.

I have a 2011 RAM with 4 speakers and the RES head unit.
I would like to add a set of Kicker speakers (both front and back) as the have quite good frequency range. I do not need the sub, at least not under the seat as I need that storage space.

Is there an amplifier available for for my setup by Kicker?

I would say that you could lower the bass setting on your radio which since you have the sub allowing a cleaner sound. Settings always seem to sound better if they are not maxxed out.

If I knew then what I know now, this would be my shopping list....
disconnect the center and headliner speakers.
set of components in the front door and pillar mount the tweeters
6x9 rear doors
LC6i signal processor to keep the factory RBZ h/u
pre-made single 10" sub enclosure
10" sub
5 channel amp

This complete system can be done for under $800 including wiring if you shop around(free shipping, free amp wiring kits, free capacitor, free dynamat, coupons and specials, etc)....maybe even closer to $700. Of course all of this is relevant to just how high end you want to go.
