Default Few questions

I got a 2009 Dodge Ram ST for my birthday. I'm sort of having trouble finding performance mods for it, so I was wondering if someone would point me in the right direction here. By the way, I'm not the most knowledgable person about the performance of a vehicle so any links to explain things would be great.

Also, I'm aware that any lifting of a 2WD vehicle is considered by some an idiotic move, but I enjoy the look of a big vehicle. At the same time, I'm also open to lowering my truck. I just want some opinions on that little argument. Not trying to start anything, just some opinions would be nice.

Thanks everyone. If I think of anything else I'll post it later.

Superlift has a 4" and 6" completelift that will fit 35" and 37" tires. Anywhere from $2-$3k if you do it yourself. add $1000 for install... Does that thing got a Hemi???

Caesar, I've got 04 dodge ram 1500 quad cab with 3.7 and i'm looking to drop mine. Will let you know how much it might be. Few questions though. Do you want a fixed drop or to be able to adjust the height with bag kit. I'm looking to drop but want to be able to raise if the water rises from to much rain. Found many kits but still looking for good mechanical advice to which kit to get or what to look for in a kit.

Is that avi a pic of your truck? That is sharp. I really like those wheels and that grille. Headlights blacked out too?

I say don't worry about lifting it if you want to go that route. The off-road race trucks that have over 2 feet of suspension travel are 2 wheel drive. Lowering looks cool too and will get better mileage. -Joe

Personally im not a fan of lowered trucks unless its a serious racing truck or like an srt10. But if you have a 2wd and wanna lift it screw people who think lifting 2wd is stupid plenty of people have pavement queen lifted 4x4s so whats its matter, or you could just build a pre runner style truck and another plus is it is usually cheaper and easier to lift 2wd thats just my .02 cents
