i have heard some guys dont cut off the runners all the way...they only cut off some moving the power band down on the bottom end..not sure if it works

so that would actualy increse my torque output at lower RPM or just bring my max hp closer to a lower rpm

yo ramming it. still have not got my shift kit put in. sucks. my buddy called 2 times to install it both times i was busy and couldnt drop it off to him for a day or so. took my tbs off freed up some air flow truck ran better and got up and went a bit more. think mine was restricting my truck since my kegger is not modded. and after i took it off and started it my exhaust was lower not as loud at idle

Ima try taking my tps off too now after reading your post,,,I've never ran my truck with it off since I modded it im wondering what it'll sound n feel like. You know what made my exhaust sound deeper.... That SEAFOAM stuff. Last week I sprayed some in there let it sit for bout 4 min and ran the HELL outta that RAM for bout 4 or 5 miles! Sounds preety DEEP lmfao!

ya man let me know how it goes.. i recently had my fuel pump go out 214,000 miles had to drop the tank and change it.. a hell of a job easy part was getting it down the 2 hard parts was taking pump out the fuel tank had to take it to a buddy shop and use this nifty little tool so it would unscrew.and then putting it back up where it went haha... ya i tried that tps mod more put alittle tape on the tab on the tb. and got a reading of .975 only thing that sucked bout doing that my truck in park and neutral idles at 1200-1300 rpms but was normal 700-800 in drive i did not like it so i took it off and went back to my reeding of .735 and regular idle 700-800. I love that seafoam does wonders i run it ever 2-3 oil changes and clean my tb every 2-3 oil changes. try to keep my truck as smooth as possible. my next thing is gonna do a radiator flush and change my nasty old fluid. sapposed to ever 3 years or 5 years if u have extended life fluid. its been like 3-4 years so its due for a change. and i have noticed at a stop light the truck heats up to a max of 190 when i have a 180 stat. never got past 184 on any instance. so ya change here we come. the fuel pump was 179 + tax came out to 191 and some change with my friends discount lowest one i seen in stores was 220 then tax. still broke me tho.. was trying to save up for my air gap its the next thing i wana do. if i ever get this damn shift kit in haha.

ON my last post I meant to type TBS not TPS my bad... That airgap runs around 300.00 I believe. What type of gains are you looking at with that Airgap?? Your shift kit STILL ISNT INSTALLED!!! So your mechanics giving you the run around or what? j/k bud!! Hey if that kit needs a home.. I got just the place... HEHE goodluck bud!

the hughes fi airgap is 600. and its not a mechanic at a shop its a buddy whos been really busy with all his backyard mechanic stuff.. i called him yesterday and he said he will get me in a soon as possible he said sometime this week or wknd so.. im hoping he goes bu his word.. im tired of waiting..i bought the shift kit off a guy on dodgeforum. its the 130 kit he sold to me for 80 with shipping.

A work in progress. Dont laugh too awful hard.... I bet it rocks when I am done.
The piece in back is a mock up to show me where the rear body will be.
Front will have the MAP, throttle and cruise cable, middle will have the TPS. The rear will have the IAC and kickdown cable. in order to make this work I am shortening the runners to one third of the original length, so it will effectively be a six pack FI tunnel ram when done. Surprisingly... VERY few clearance issues so far. One biggie is the fuel rail cross over. It will be right where I need the IAC to be. Using a longer hose seems to be the answer, but we will see.

Whatcha think?
