Unhappy PIAA 540 kit #5432 maybe unnecessary

Hi, It seems like these ion fog lights mount at the factory holes no problem, has anyone had trouble with clearance issues? so why should I go with a mounting kit? My question is, should I really go with a vehicle specific light kit that includes lights, wires, brackets, switch or can I get away with mounting just the PIAA 5461 kit instead of the 5432 kit? It would help if someone has gone through this before and can talk to me more about this.
Thanks,
Mike

See pics to see what I mean. fog lights needed.

Well, looking at the 5461 kit and the vehicle specific 5432 kit it looks like the difference is the mounting brackets. If you're planning on mounting them in the stock location they it would probably be a good idea as there's nothing there to mount to unless you're planning on putting them into you bumper cover. The stock brackets mount from the the frame

Here's the stock '07 fogs but the mounting is similar
