If you've got a 2WD then a 4/6 would be fine. There should be no rub issues if you're running stock. If you're worried about it, you can roll the inside of your front wheel well with a well roller or if you want to be less technical, an aluminum baseball bat (but that can get pretty dicey if your friend holding the bat gets it in the face).

if you even think about doing a 4/6 you better have a notch ready to go, even with the 2/4 drops if you live in the city

I like the 2/4 myself, but 4/6 is about the lowest you can go.

5/7 on low pro tires with a c notch in the rear definatly needed the notch and new bumpstops. I know that most people are lowering newer trucks but is anyone using the Energy Suspension Bushing kits? a friend of mine dropped his witha 5/7 and we used a bushing kit and it made the handling better (to me) then when he drove it off the lot. I know that all the trucks are built with rubber bushings but if ur tearin the suspension off anyway might as well replace them idk just a thought.

how far did the 5/7 sit? that's pretty close to laying out the rockers. Was it a static drop or did it get 'bagged too for drivability?

Check out the post by "slammed1" the first truck pic is a 5/8 and the 2nd pic is a 5/7 on stocks. it looks lower in person and it was a static drop he just had to go slow over the speed bumps. In south florida they are doing away with the speed bumps and puttin in speed humps which are much easier to drive over in lowered vehicle. We have to do the c notch on my friends truck cuz he put a system in the truck and utilizing the bed for the box which aded weight obviously so we didnt want to bust an axle.

Damn, I do love the lowered trucks but a static drop that low just wouldn't be practical for the winters out here. 2/4 is all i'm gonna do over 22s
