There's not much to it. Two screws and two connectors.

I've been looking for pics of the brake controller on a 2010 unit as well as many others in this thread and no one is putting one up so I googled it for my own research and this is what i found http://files.conceptcarz.com/img/Dod...ge-i06-800.jpg ( tried to put up the pic itself but couldn't) that is a factory installed unit the factory code for ordering is XHC I called my dealer and he confirmed it and I will be going to see him later today any other info I receive I will post. In the pic posted the controller is just below the steering wheel to the left under the headlight control.

I've got everything ready to install in my 09. Got the 2 harnesses made up and connected to the controller. Just need it to stop snowing so I can plug it into the truck.
How did you get the wire code for the harnesses. I have the module and the bezel. Dealer can't get me the harness. 2009 1500 Larami
sure would appreciate the help

I got the info from the dealer. He was able to look up the pinouts on the service computer. But the controller didn't work on the 09. Well, only worked partially so I took it back out.

Hey topgun, I have been trying to get one of these controllers for my 2010 for the last 3 weeks. Will you sell yours?

I just picked up my 2010 1500 with the optional brake controller. It does display EVIC.
I love this new truck

If I bought a 2010 Ram 1500 could I the trailer brake installed later? I bought mine without the trailer brake not thinking I would need one.
