another source for the elusive air hat for you guys looking to build these... the jeep grand cherokee laredo had an option on the 1990 to 1998 (approx) jeeps with a 318 v8. they have a hat that would work as well as the durango. also you are correct, the cadillac eldorado mid to late 90's had a hat as well.

thought it might help

would using metal conduit work better for keeping the air colder. I would think that the pvc would absorb heat.

Welcome to the site.I am not sure but the metal may be heavier and you would have to find a way to support it better. The electrical conduit I used is about a 1/4" thick

Smaller than 3" not sure on exact, but I used a 3" rubber connector to attach to it

Where is the guy responsible for this set-up? Reveal yourself please I love the look. I've got a short air intake on mine but I want to change to the old school look. Was installing the pro flo easy bolt on or did you have to do any modding? Did you use crank case breathers on both sides of the block? Please respond with more details, looks awesome!
