It's an 08. So far I have 22" SRT 10 rims, 2" rear leveling kit, window tint, 6" off road lights mounted behind the grille, and some other little stuff. I havn't decided if I want to mod the interior next or the engine. Oh I just cut off my muffler just to piss off my soon to be wife haha. I want to make my own CAI for sure.

If you havent already, post those pictures in the Picture's section! Your ram looks AMAZING! I'd go all out, mod the hell out of the engine. That thing already looks like it's fast, now make it that way!

I would like to see it lowered a little (not that I'm a lowering guy) and put some ground effects on it . Remove the nerf bars . Looks good . Love the SRT-10 wheels .

I vote a BIG no on the SRT-6 idea, but i'm all for the modding of the 3.7 and Alex has pretty much dropped everything I would've said. I'm loving the SRT hood and wheels and I'd say get a chrome gas cover and mirror overlays to finish off the chrome look. Also, I don't think the nerf bars quite fit with the look, but that's just me.

It'd look sick with a 2/4 drop to sit it lower on those tires and a ground effects kit (something like street scene's or OEM would look great) to get the rockers lower.

Yeah for sure, maybe add some ground effects and a good drop would look nice and clean.

I have to agree, MOD the heck out of it!!! You have a very nice looking truck, and thanks for the pics, 'cause I have been looking for a pic that shows what the nerf bars would look like on my truck and wasn't sure if it would look right or not with the regular cab/short box configuration (there just aren't too many of them down here), so I basically decided on just the single side step instead, but I like the look of yours, looks sporty!

Alex has some good ideas, and despite the opinions to the contrary, our engines are mod-able, also. Will my next truck be a HEMI and therefore already come stock with the power/performance? I will say probably, but the diesels really get my attention, too, so who knows. Whatever the next one is, though, I want to buy it before everything has to be plugged in at night, lol! I have said this before, the 3.7 is a great engine, but a little too small for the weight of the RAM. It works well in the Jeep Liberty, but by comparison seems a bit sluggish in our trucks, but with a few add-ons, that is subject to change.

All in all, your truck looks awesome, love the hood , and I say go for it. As has been said, our engines are not new, therefore have stood the test of time, he he, so at least the bugs have been worked out. I'm all for individuality and uniqueness. It's your truck, make it your own! Good luck, and be sure to keep us posted!

Thank you for all of the responses! I agree with you all on the side steps. The first 2 things I did to that truck was put the side steps on and tint the windows. It looked alright until I lowered the back 2". I just had a hell of a deal on them (50 bucks brand new in the box Westins) So I couldn't pass that up. But I agree with the lowering and ground effex. I just found a guy that will help me lower it for a case of beer haha so I just have to find the right kit. I don't want to go any lower than 2-4 because tires are expensive and the front wheel slant will eat them up as much as I drive. The guy that is helping me put the kit on told me to stay clear of springs and get spindles due to alignment. Anyone with experience in this? I know springs are a couple hundred cheaper but I want to do it right. But yes the 2-4 is next on the exterior/performance agenda. I want it for the looks and the handeling. And yes once I lower it the step bars are coming off!! I am currently working on my home made CAI. We will see how that goes. I am throwing in a pic of my truck a few days after I got it. With the only mods being window tint, tail lights tint, chrome door handle. Big difference. I promise I will post new pics with the lowering kit and it will probably be next summer before the ground effex come into play. I'm starting on the engine after the lowering.

I say mod it, you already got it. Have fun with it, it makes it all more personal when you mod and work on it, you will gain a new appreciation for it. Good Luck
