Love me or hate me,

If I want to drive to portland, I would GLADLY pick this up! As i've said before the Syclone is my DREAM truck. I've driven as far as South Dakota, so Portland is no big! Lol. Doubt my dad would let me when he sees a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. I WISH I WAS 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice find, there, man, and we all have our dream trucks.....I saw one of these Commanche's at work one day, same color as my Cherokee, sport model, same striping and all. For me, the perfect combo, Jeep and truck, now the Gladiator concept, well, I gotta stop drooling, lol!

Ah man those look like they would mob over any terrain thrown at them! never heard of the gladiator concept, but it just sounds bad ass!

Gosh, insurance would probably be less than what it is now lol. Smaller truck, smaller engine. We can leave out the whole turbo thing

Basically ontop of the blistering acceleration, the rarity factor is still there, a tad more produced than the Black ss/t's. I also would die for 4x4, and the syclone has that!

That is one bad truck, and a nice looking one at that! How far are you from Portland....? Don't want to get you in trouble with the old man, tho.!

But me, I have been on e-bay for awhile looking for my Commanche, seen a couple, but they're always way up north like Vermont or New Hampshire or something like that. I did find a cool one, though, will have to dig up the pic, and, yes, I am showing my age here, but I was looking for a Jeep built in the year I was born and found a '76 Cherokee Chief!

BTW, you think the Gladiator is Bad arse, check this out: http://www.netcarshow.com/jeep/2005-hurricane_concept/

Haha yeah, he'd be mad that I could beat his Charger Lol. Thats the only reason. When I got the truck, he was asking me about it since he didn't know much about dodge trucks, he just signed for it. I told him I've got a 5.9, and instantly he began to put me down.

"you may have a bigger displacement, but i've got 345hp and mines way faster, holds more people, has a 160 speedo" and so on... He is demanding a race at Pacific Raceways, to put me in my place Lol.

If I got the syclone... All hell would break loose Lol.

Isn't that depressing when you find vehicles that are prime like that but are on the opposite side of the U.S. Basically?

I'm about 500 miles away, 1k round trip.

I'll look up the Cheif! Lol, oh who cares, we all have to tell our age SOMETIME. I'll forget tomorrow anyways.

and as far as that link goes, I'd like to call that 4 wheel steering!??!! But even better!?!? Thats crazy! Picture the donuts you could do! Haha

Yeah, guess you would have one big competition, there, huh, but with your truck you have the element of uniqueness, and if I am ever up that way, I would just love to see that race! I will have to buy a pink camera just for the occasion!

It does suck when some of the cool vehicles I find are so far away, but there are always airplanes to get me there so I can drive the new ride home! That's always been my problem, though. Most of the vehicles I have owned are not even in the same decade I am living in. My truck now is the second vehicle that I have bought in as many years that is in the same year, so I gotta love the irony of the fact that when all I had were the older ones, I always wanted a newer one, and then when I get a newer one, I start getting the nostalgia again to find another goodie.

No worries, man, age 'aint nothing but a thing, at least until your joints become the Weather Channel and let you know it's going to rain or get cold, lol! Saves money on cable ha ha, but the Chief is pretty cool, but the Hurricane.....

Quadra steer, it is four wheel steering, with not one but TWO HEMI's, oh I would so kill myself driving something like that, or at least die trying, lol! The donuts, that would be amazing, but being able to drive SIDEWAYS....classic! That is a pretty cool site, though for some of the concepts that you might not find anywhere else. I get a lot of my wallpapers from there.

Lol I know it's going to happen. P.R. is shutting down for the season soon, and my dad is doing his own things with the charger, god knows what lol. It should like be a TV show, blue team vs red team kinda thing which all leads up to 1 big finale. I tell you what though, up to 45 I bet I give him a run for his money... and then I shift into 2nd and all hope is gone.

I kinda feel you on how the nostalgia factor kicks in lol. With the s10, I wanted something bigger and meaner, well forcefully had to get a truck and got the chance, and now I want the mini truck again haha. They just handle so different, I LOVE to take turns fast. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I guess it helps my truck is lowered now, but still cant turn like the old truck haha even though it BLOWS AWAY anything in the straight away's.

Haha I'm going to be feeling it soon! I'm sure previous injuries will be with me forever. My back is already bad from the first rearender. WHY do I have to be 6 foot damn 5, and my head happened to be higher than the headrest... Lol my neck probably sounded like a whip cracking at the speed of sound.

You did not just say 2 HEMIS'!? I admire just 1 hemi! haha thats crazy! I'll have to keep in touch with that site! Also you should check out www.Fast-autos.net It's the site I use to look at concepts, though trucks aren't covered too much theres a lot of cars i'd dream of having.

So they just have to shut the track down for winter, I imagine? That makes sense, or they would end up with a pileup like they had today on the Autobahn near Oberwiesenthal Germany, 18 vehicles I think it was, not pretty, speed on ice....That just means someone has to get rich and build an indoor 1/4 just for the winter months, lol, but at least you would have a good time trying in the first 1/8 or so against your dad!

I bet you got a lot of good winding roads up there to take those curve in, lol, nothing like that down here, all flat and straight ahead. Isn't that like the D.O.T. giving us permission to race, built in drag strip???

Sucks about your injuries from the accident. Seems like you should have gotten some kind of compensation for that! My parents were in a drunk driving accident years and years ago and my brother and I were in the backseat, so thankfully not the injuries my parents walked away with, but totalled a car we had just bought 3 weeks prior. Me, I injured my back a few years ago, just couldn't tell work 'cause safety bonuses were getting ready to come out and I needed the money, but most of it was me thinking I am invincible when I was younger, but my parents just couldn't keep me inside the house, lol!

And yes, if you read the article, that thing has 2 HEMI's, one in front and one in rear, 16 cylinders, all equipped with MDS, so you can go from 600+ HP down to just 4 cylinders operating if you ever felt like coming back into civilization and going downtown! Gotta love engineering!

Guess I would just have to bite the bullet and view the race in the winter, so my camera would live, lol! BTW, that is a cool site, lotsa nice cars there!!!
