Default Rough Country 5", how big of tires?

First post here, looking for some advice.

I've got a 2000 1500 short bed I've had a couple years. As soon as I got it I put a 5" Rough Country lift on it, then last year I upgraded the rear to Superlift leaf springs and took out the RC blocks.

I have a set of 315/75/16 mud tires on 8" aluminum wheels with very close to stock offset.

Everything works fine as is, but the tires look tiny with all that lift. I'm thinking about a set of Dick Cepek DC1's 16x10 with 4.5" backspacing and I'd like to put bigger tires on. Anyone tried a 36x13.50 or similar sized tires with this lift setup?

BTW: This is my hunting rig so it only gets driven a couple thousand miles a year and a good part of that is on muddy rutted fire roads.

With a 5" lift you should be able to get the 36s on without a problem. I'd be a little worried about how much you rub with 10s on the front. But if you're getting pleany of backspace you should be fine, there's always spacers if req'd, and I wouldn't be worried about using them if it's an off-road rig.

Also, stop by the newbie section and get the official hello.

I wouldn't think that would be a problem . You may even be able to put 37" under it . I have 35"s under mine . And all I have is a 2" leveling kit .

Thanks,

I know there are a lot of variables, but any ideas on width?
I'm pretty sure I can clear 36x12.50 Super Swamper TSL radials but wondering about 36x13.50 Irok's

A local shop has a great deal on 36x15.50 Mickey Thompson MTZ's and he said if I got the wheels he'll test fit them, I have my doubt's that they'll fit though.
