Yes it does. I have a very artistic side to me that I believe I got from my grandfather on my mother's side. He has been inspirational person to me. I never met him as he passed a couple years before I was born but I always felt he was a guardian angel. He worked for NASA helping to design and engineer the shuttles. So I look up to him alot. Even when I found myself in need of advice I'd look to the stars and know he was watching over me, as I would always see a shooting star. So when I wanted to get a tattoo in memory of him I wanted something Star related but I wanted it to go with my butterfly which was my first tattoo I designed. There fore I decided on the Stargazer lily.

And that's the story behind my lily tattoo.
My father worked for NASA . He did stuff on the space shuttle also . Where did your grandfather work ?

I love some of the artwork all of you have. Makes me want to go get inked real soon.

Great story Bad!!! Tattoos (to me) are even better when there is a reason or story behind it! Thanks for sharing that!

Yeah, it really didn't hurt. It would vibrate my shoulderblade when she went over it and it tickled.

How I spend the first day of spring (in a snow storm!)

This is for my daughter Holly....the Little Mermaid has a significance to her and I. Best painful two hours of my life!
