There is some nice work around here. I'll thrown mine up there. I wired the tattoo shop where my artist started his own place, so i dont have to pay anymore................... but I also tipped heavily when I first started going to him. Tell me what ya think. the cougar is my first piece and the only one true tattoo in r'va didnt do.
this piece is actually a nice oval shape, just the way im holding my calf is jacked. lol
also just got my wrist and wedding band tattooed just dont have a pic handy. post that in a little while.
sorry about the lighting on the wrist, I aint getting up from the chair this evening. lol. Im acting like an old man on a friday night.
Not to start anything, but seems like some of yall are getting jacked on some tattoo prices, the half sleeve only cost me $1200 w/tipping and the calve only cost $250 w/tipping. maybe its location, im on the east coast. didnt really pay attention to where others lived though.
Here are some of my better pieces... I started "collecting" when I was 16,and it was more a competition amongst peers of who had more... not what they were of or what they meant. I have a lot of "stuff", some good, some less so, all things that tell a story about that part of my life. I later matured and began collecting work with more meaning from top artists in the country (though this also required some targeted laser removal to make room for better art... lemme tell ya, tattoos aren't forever, but they hurt a hell of a lot more coming off!!!! ).
I have a bug collection on my right arm and the beginnings of a water scene on the left, though life and many other expensive hobbies have shelved that collection for the time being. My pic archive of my tattoos is pretty lame, so most of the pics are when they were new or were poorly taken by myself at odd angles... enjoy, FWIW.
Just in case you wanted to know what laser removal looks like, here's a shot after my third treatment.... they went a little too aggressive on this one and caused some serious bleeding, and some scarring. There's a blurry before and after for reference... in the other post, this area was covered with the blue Mantis.
