Default Light Install In Progress

Here are some teaser pictures. I have a Signal Mini Phantom Red/White Mounted under the review mirror. The Whelen Slimlighter below is temporary, it is going on the passenger side headliner. I am going to attempt to make custom brackets and mount it to the sun shade brackets. If not, suction cups will be used on the windshield.

In the rear I mounted a Red/Red Mini Phantom on driver side rear window and a Red/White on the passenger side. I did not have many options mounting the lights in the rear window due to my center sliding window.

I will update the thread when I make more progress with the switches and mounting the siren.

Looking good. Only thing I would suggest changing would be your red/white mini phantom in the back. White to the rear with the exception of HAWs are usually ok but anything else is usually frowned upon due to white being more of a blinding color. Now granted, the mini phantoms are a first gen LED and with them behind tint, you shouldn't have any problems. Just my two cents on it. I'd like to see what kind of switch setup you put in. I currently have all my lights running off one rocker switch but would like to get a little more control over them. IE: be able to turn just the back lights on or just the front etc.

Also, if you're not already - head over to * e light bars . org * it's an all Fire/EMS/Police forum regarding lighting, sirens, installs, basically anything related to public safety. Very good people and information as well as pictures. People also sell quite a bit of lights and sirens used but name brand stuff for great prices.

Good job Matt.

Looks like you're off to a great start. Can't wait to see the finished results.

I thought the same thing about the white led. But I use to have white strobes in my tail lights. Never had an issue. The red/white is on the passenger side. With the tint i think it will be fine. I might be getting a red/red phantom from a friend.

Well after 4 hours and a couple trips to Radio Shack and Autozone the lights are wired up. I noticed my Whelen Slimlighter is not as bright as I would like. I am actually kinda disappointed in it. I will see how it preforms at night. Here is a pic of the switches. I can't seem to upload a video of my lights.

Sorry I have not updated my thread. The day after I wired up my switches I fell off a ladder in my back yard and fractured the bottom of my tibia. I am now finally able to walk without crutches with a walking boot.

So I recently had my friend weld me a stainless steel siren bracket. Here is where I plan to mount it. Just need help from a friend to do it.
