Default Any difference between 08-09 undercarriage

Is there any difference on the under carraige of the 08 to 09 models. I am looking for exhaust, they have plenty of 08s but no 09s for the 4.7. can any one tell me if there is a difference in placement of any componets.

plus the 08's had rear leaf springs,09's have to rear coil springs now.I'm sure that may have something to do with the exhausts being different. I have an 07 4.7L which I had to have the dual exhaust custom bent. Was actually cheaper than buying an aftermarket system.

I agree the main difference as far as exhaust shape and mounts is because of the rear suspension changes. You are probably best to go to your local exhaust guy and just let him loose.

As scootr68 said, the 08's had rear leaf springs and the 09's have the new multi-link coil suspension. If you visit the Mufflex web site, the aftermarket mufflers they are selling will only fit the 09's so I'm pretty sure the geometry has probably changed in the way they run the tubing around things under the 09's vs the 08's. Also, some of the 09's have a single exhaust coming out behind the rear passenger tire while others have the dual exhaust coming out the rear.

thanks, i have a single exhaust but want to go dual out the back. so I might just go with a muffler and have a shop bend the rest.
