Default Exhaust newbie!!

I have a volant CAI, now I want an exhaust. Im not so concerned about sound as I am with performance. Not a whole lotta cash either so I was going to go with the Summit Racing (their brand) single out 3" cat back exhaust. It runs about 169$$ but wasnt sure of the quality, plus their dual rear exit 2.5" is 189$$ not much more for what you get. Im not looking to wake the neighbors in the morning or have the drone sound while driving, I just want something that will pair nicely with the CAI so when I get on it I can tell its there. As of right now the sound from the engine is great, but not a whole lot going on out the back. Also, (remember I new to exhaust) should I get a new intermediate pipe and a new cat too?

I just ordered one of the Summit Racing Turbo Mufflers (the same ones that are on those kits) I plan on putting it on tomorrow and I'll let you know how it sounds/feels.

granted I do only have the 4.7 but it should atleast give you an idea of quality.

Ok I got that summit racing muffler put on today. It sounds awesome, just as good as the flowmaster I had on my old truck. For the money (and ebb for a little more money) it can't be beat.

Some of this just may be me being excited but seriously... It sounds good, kinda loud, but an excellent low rumble

I love it
