Angry '97 5.9L 3500 Ram won't start

Pulled the batteries out today and cleaned up all my connections, now she turns over but won't start. Didn't have any trouble before, just doing some Saturday afternoon maitenance. Checked all connections and fuses, I'm stumped.

Are your batteries at full charge??? Fully charged batteries are 12.6V...anything lower can cause your car not to start properly...

Yes Sir! Started her up, drove her over by the shop, removed the batteries, cleaned everything up, re-assembled, tried to start, turns over, no start.

I would say its a bad solenoid in the starter, that is not allowing the starter drive to make contact witht the engine flywheel gear that transmits starter motor power to rotate the engine...

Doesn't need to be plugged in does it . See your in Colorado . Don't know how cold it is there . Not 100% up on diesels , but know they need a little heat air and fuel . Should start . Next thing I would check , see if you have fuel pressure at the injector while cranking , crack a line loose . If you do (I think your electronic fuel injection , correct) see if you are getting a signal to your injectors . You did say you checked the fuses . Did you check them with a test light , or eye ball them . Don't go by your eye sight , alot of times they have a hair line crack and you won't see it . Let me know how you make out . Tom

No, not cold enough yet. One other time I had a won't start problem, it was a fuel control solenoid. Yes, I just eye-balled the small fuses. The larger ones I did a continuity check. No electronic fuel injection, that wasn't until '98, I have a '97. Any other ideas??
