Default 6 issues when recall repair was completed

This week, I took my 2009 1500 in for the recall associated with a part on the windshield washer assembly and there were 5 additional issues that required inspection/upgrades/etc. They were called "rapid response" something or another. The service manager was shocked there were 5 - in addition to the recall. If you haven't gotten your '09 in for servicing lately, you may want to.

Yesterday the exact same events happened to me. I took my truck in for the recall on the windshield washer assembly and there were 5 additional issues. The service manager's eyes bulged out when he started reading the "rapid responses". We went to service department and they told me that they needed to order the parts and would call me when they came in.

Also, this weekend a loud clicking noise in the dash started right after I start the truck. It continues for about 30 seconds and then quits. The service manager said he had no idea what was causing it but they would look into it when the "rapid response" parts came in.

I will be very interested in hearing how your repairs go.

I got this one in the mail last week: windshield washer assembly

Talked to the service guy on the phone today. He said there were a few more and he'd have to look if they had the parts.
Didn't want to wait on hold, so I told him I'd stop in tomorrow when I run to town.
Then I can make my appt for an oil change, tire rotation, power tailgate lock install and all the rrt's
Hope they give me a loaner so I don't have sit there for hours....

had mine at the dealer today , same thing , saw three pages of paper work and asked about it and the sevice d.b. tell me they were computer related updates and walked away. he was kinda pissed because i chewed him a new one as they screwed up my truck doing the other work.
my paper work also mentioned a hose and clamps , is this the wiper repair everyone speaks of ?
