That's all right. Someone in Florida thought it would look good to remove the SS/T stripes and badging from my '98 Ram SS/T. Oh i pick it up this afternoon.

Ah jeeze, well I wish I had my original rims, but mine don't look half bad on the truck, they look prime not to mention the tires are amazing.

Atleast the stripes can be replaced for somewhat cheap, look around ebay especially, there will be kits with all of the pieces.

If I had an SS/T that needed repainting, I think I'd paint the stripes on.

Well I got my truck. '98 Ram SS/T. Black with silver stripes, only the stripes are missing. They are already on order from Phoenix Graphics. $300 to fix somebodies stupidity. I did get all the maintenance records all the way down to the original window sticker. I'll get some pics up this weekend. Here is one to hold ya over till then.

Nice truck. I have wondered if the Phoenix Graphics decals were OEM or better quality. Let us know.

Default Help!

On the topic of decals/stripes.... I don't suppose someone would PLEASE help me out...

I have a BEAUTIFUL 98 SS/T (white w/ blue)... and somehow what was supposed to be just a new front bumper (rusted out old one)... turned into all my stripes and decals being stripped.... don't ask....

The truck now has painted on stripes ("almost" the color and size they were originally)... and the ss/t and dodge lettering were decaled.

But... the lettering is sized ALL WRONG!! I'm one unhappy "mommy" and need some help.

Can someone PLEASE take a few measurements of the lettering and send it my way so I can have them do it RIGHT (why they didn't take the measurements before they peeled the old ones is simply beyond me)

Specifically the Height and Width of the DODGE on the gate, if possible both the "inner dimension" and to the outer edge of the outline. Same for the SS/T to the "inner dimesions" (as I believe the outline is sized different for all you black and silver guys)

Please let me know if that doesn't make any sense!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
