Default Ordered gears and limited slip!

Just ordered 4.10 gears and limited slip for my 09 Crew...If they won't make a Crew Cab R/T, I'll make my own!!!
Still waiting on the DS Predator to come in. Should be in by friday..or at least Monday.
I don't know which I'm more excited about, the gears, the limited slip, or the Pradator!!!!
I'm thinking I am gonna make a few passes at the track with the just gears installed. Then I'll install the programmer and make a few passes and see just how much I benefit from each mod.
I would do the whole DYNO thing but the track is $20 per night as apposed to $100 per hour for the DYNO!
I'll be sure to give lots of details. Although realistically I won't be able to make it back to the track until after Thanksgiving...Bummer!

Where did you get the gears and LSD from? How much, if you don't mind posting? Are you installing yourself or taking it to a pro?

I have a friend who is a mechanic for a local dealership who is going to do it at his house for $250.00

Dealership will re-flash PCM for $95.00


Note: BY DOING THIS, IT WILL VOID THE WARRANTY ON THE REAR END!!!
So if something happens to my gears or LSD, it will be my responsibilty to have it repaired. If I were to let the dealership do it, my warranty would not be affected, but it would cost $2200.00. thats a $1200 difference. So I'm fine with doing it the way I'm doing it, because the money I save by doing it myself, I could do it another time if it breaks and still come out ahead.

Are you planning on getting the higher stall speed torque converter like the R/T rams have?

No, thats a little too much money for me. Because I'd definately have to let the dealership do that as to not void the warranty on the trans and I'm sure that would be EXPENSIVE at dealer prices!!
But it would be nice! Maybe later....

But I think I'll be happy with the performance and towing from the gears and programmer...
