Default I got a steal on SS/T rims.

So I Go to church today and afterwards I am BSing with Scott and another friend of ours who owns a 1998 Dodge ram SS/T, Well I remarked to him how much I liked those SS/T rims and how hard they are to find. Well it seemed to be fate, He replaced his rims with a set of 20's and he also is moving to Phoenix soon. So He asked if I wanted them. I said sure. So here they are.

The tires are rubbish and the clear coat is failing but I can fix that for the price of these rims. I mounted one today to see what it looked like, But I want 33" or 35" Tires and these are a hair under 30".

^ My Truck stock

Anyway, Deal of the Day IMO.

Nice score! I wish I still had the extra set I had. The guy that sold them to me put the ugliest wheels in the world on his white SS/T. At least I sold them to a guy with an Indy.

I don't understand why anybody with an SS/T or an Indy would sell their stock wheels. A dumb move by him is good luck for you.

Anybody Here ever used these with larger A/T tires? I am think 315/70R17's since I am putting 2" lift on soon and I want 35" tall tires. I think it will look good, but I can't find them in pics.

Heck yeah, that is an awesome deal, man, and they look great on your truck! I agree with Tom, get 'em cleaned up put some new meat on 'em and good to go. Guess the guy didn't really realize what he was letting go of, but one man's junk is another man's treasure!

Yeah, I love the rims on my SS/T but what in the hell was the old owner thinking Lol. That's what makes them unique!

He thinks there cool but not as cool as his Black and silver 20's he's been running for two years (says him). I seriously didn't even know he still had the stock wheels. I love stock rims more than any aftermarket rim, you just have to find the right combo and I think I found it.

haha...I'd never get rid of my wheels. May set them in the corner so they don't get scratched...but never sell them

I read somewhere that the wheel manufacture is actually what limited the amount of SS/Ts that were made, as the aftermarket wheel manufacture could only make enough wheels for about 3000 trucks a year (totalling at about 12000 wheels)

But...I have a set and 3/4. My dads Indy truck had one that had a gouge taken out of it, the other 3 are perfect. So...I'm keeping them as spares

And...they look good on your truck, man...just, don't let them get hurt...lol

Thats a GREAT deal. You should be able to clean them up pretty good by using the finest steal wool and some metal polish. Congrats and I agree with everybody here 35's would look great.

I'll try and see if I can chop these onto your truck with bigger meats.
