Default First pictures.

Well after fighting the flu for the past two days I finally have some pictures of my truck. Got it Monday and haven't really done a thing with it so far.

First off are the pictures.

It has a laundry list of defects that need to be addressed as well.
-Radiator Leaks
-Low beams don't work
-drivers front wheel bearing is past the end of its life
-no dipstick
-some weird hook bolt holding the alt in place
-CEL for coolant temp sensor - low voltage
-Misfiring on cylinders 2-7
-Brake fluid is the worst I have ever seen in any vehicle.
-ABS Light on
-Brake light on when e-brake is released
-all lenses broken/cracked except for the fogs and headlights
-about 2.5 inches of play in the steering

theres always more but thats all I can think of at the moment.

sorry to hear you were sick, but happy your better now

as far as your brake light staying on, i had the same problem with my ram, and i go up under the dash and watched it as i engaged / disengaged it and noticed it moves a piece of metal when engaged that touches another piece of metal to send a ground through, and when disengaging it, it didnt come back far enough to lose contact. all i had to do was bend back the metal piece so it wasnt touching while the brake was disengaged

hopefully that helps your problem too!!!

That is a nice looking truck, and I like the color too! Definitely a lot you can do with that. She/he just needs some good ole' TLC is all!

Looks like quite a project, but you got a good base to start with. Nice color. Have fun and get better soon. I have been trying to work on my truck with a broken leg, so I know it stinks to try and do stuff when your not 100%

Thats not a bad project you got there, love the color also.

When i got mine it had a laundry list of things to address also, I just figured it was testament to how well these rigs were made, and people actually using them for what the were designed for.

Good luck with her and can't wait to see your progress.
Get better soon.
