I love the coil springs, if I wanted to tow massive amounts I would have bought a 2500 and had the diesel option. My truck is a daily driver/home-depot hauler/furnitare and appliance as needed hauler. Its perfect!

If I was in construction, or owned my own handyman service or somthing like that, my truck of choice would not be a 1500...I would get the 2500 at least for hauling things everyday like a trailer full of equipment, or the bed full of tool boxes etc...I bought my ram for DD, hauling small things like appliances, furniture, things like that...

I agree with everyone else in this thread, if you're gonna haul anything that often that is going to always meet the maximum towing capacity or payload of your truck, then you better get a 2500 diesel then, because the mileage would be bad otherwise in 1/2 ton pickup, no matter the brand. I have heard that the 2010s towing numbers do go up to match the competition.
