Leave the stacks for the Peterbuilts, Kenworths, and Freightliners. Stacks don't belong on pickups period, unless it is a 1978-1979 Little Red Express truck.

To each his own, I am sure there were a bunch of people that said we shouldn't hop a truck up for any reason other than then to tow stuff; then there came the SRT-10 Ram. In my oppinoin you should do whatever makes you happy! Push the edge, who knows what you may start...

For the love of all things pure and holy, DO NOT PUT STACKS ON A PICKUP TRUCK! They are for semis only.

And Im sorry, Ill go ahead and say it, the little red express trucks were butt ugly and the stacks were a big part of that. I'm all for history and whatnot, but most every country, person etc. has that "I don't wanna talk about it" period and that my friends, was dodges.

I perosnally though about this myself as well, knowing there are no gains or anything, I jsut feel myself seeing a big ol' dodge with some nice stacks makes them look badass. Makes the truck look more beafier in a way. But i definatly agree straight piped stacks on a cummins sounds badass. But more or less if i did stacks it would be for looks cause i think they set of a truck espeacially if its jacked up with some beafy tires. But as said above only thing that kinda pushed me away was having to have the Y pipe in the bed since the gas tank is in the way of running seperate pipes. And when i was only to do mine i was going to use 4" stacks so it wasnt ridiculously big. and probably straight pipe to them as well with long tube headers.

Another reason i though of doing it was i do alot of mudding and shit so i figured it would act kinda like a snorkel as well for the exhaust as i have gone through 2 motors due to water, partially my fault had a cold air intake on that sat behind the headlight and it sucked up water twice, so took that off and covered the stock opening on the airbox and put an opening on the back with a smaller filter to act kinda as a snorkel, and i figured the exhaust wouldnt be able to have a chance of filling up with water if i did stacks....

but all to there own really people all have different tastes.
