Default Flip Kits.

after buying a belltech 2/5 flip kit for my truck which i havent installed it yet do to work...i was wondering why i couldnt find a djm kit for my truck (07 qc-5.7). so i went to djm and confirmed that they just dont make a kit for my model yet. but when i was reading about the flip kits on their site they when installing a flip kit you need to move the axle 3/4 of an inch back away from the transmission because when you flip the axle the driveshaft becomes longer. is this true? or is it only for there flipkits?

It sounds like it's their way of keeping the pinion angles correct since using the transmission as the pivot, flipping the axle on top of the leafs, will cause the placement of the axle to change based on arc length. I wish I had my drafting computer, i'd draw it up... my paint skills suck
