Took a trip up a rough gravel road and felt the steering was a little loose when going over larger rocks (baseball sized) and when a little side to side action occured I could hear a type of clanging from underneath the front. My friend didnt hear it like I did until I turned the radio down and made him listen, so its not extremely loud but its there. I feel like it should be more solid than that and there should be no noise over a road like this one. I attached a pic of the type of road im describing, its not the road I was on but very close. I have an off road but even cars can go up this thing so I wouldnt think I should be experiancing this at all. Any ideas, things I can check for? I did stop at first got under the truck and pulled on this and that and nothing seemed loose. Opened the hood and gave the steering link area a pull and there was deffinatly some play there, dont know if that should be tight or what (I could feel the clanging and "play" in the steering wheel). Am I just being paranoid here? Here is the road, thanks.
