Hey there. I have only had one truck with something to tration bars set up. I put on a set of ladder bars on a 1967 chev with a coil spring rear end. It did work i got extra traction. I imagine the traction bars will work.how much im not sure. If the price was right i try it. Im not sure if anyone on the site has them.?

Traction bars are designed to limit wheel hop by preventing the axle from tryint to "Wrap" itself around the leaf spring. Aside from that, they do noting to aid in hooking up.

Traction bars wont help a thing in turning. You dont need traction bars for everyday driving. Unless you drive your truck hard.
I had ladder bars once on a Nova I owned. Made that axle stay put! Helped my take off from starts tremendously.
But that was when I was young and drove my vehicles hard.

Traction bars are more of a straight line launch tool to prevent axle wrap (torque trying to twist the rear axle up and backwards on one side, down and forwards on the other side) and to eliminate some axle hop in the process.

You indicate you have a "hop" when you turn. Do you have a limited slip or posi rear end? It shouldn't hop in a turn.
